Hi folks - curious how to remove a legend style from your gallery. Right-clicking doesn't reveal any options other than pinning to QAT/ribbon options. I thought it might be in the catalog like the other styles, but I'm not finding the styles there either - only symbol styles. The documentation doesn't say anything about removing them, either, only adding.

I don't think you can! I can get to the Legend presets by going to Catalog View Pane, Styles, ArcGIS 2D, and then Legend:

But in there, I am not allowed to delete the legend items:

Delete is not active.

Hi,

You can't delete the core legend styles, but you can delete any legend styles you created through the Catalog Pane using the workflow @AdrianWelsh showed. You just have to click on the Favorites styles (or other style the legends were saved to).

Cheers,
Aubri

@AdrianWelshThank you! I was just looking to delete some that I had created and your arrow showed me exactly what I was missing.

@AubriKinghorn  I'll be following up with a separate idea posting for Pro to handle this differently. I was not aware of that quasi-pane on the right - seems really strange that double clicking on the Favorites only shows you some of your styles and doesn't really indicate that it's showing you a filtered list. I'm not aware of any other part of the software that has you single click a folder/bucket/whatever you want to call it in order to select child elements and for which double clicking only shows you the components of the most recently selected child. On the bright side, I know where this stuff is now. Thank you.
