Hello,

I'm using arggis pro 2.8. I opened the attribute table, created a new field, right-clicked the field, chose "calculate geometry", and then picked "area" in the property to compute the area of the polygons. However, after 30 minutes, I forgot whether I have used "area (geodesic)" or "area" to compute the area. I was wondering whether there is any way to check how I have computed the field after a field is already computed.

Thank you.

Hello I just found out how to do it. I clicked "History" under "Analysis" tab and I was able to see the history.

Nope... make notes or redo the calculation into an appropriately labelled field using the field calculator

Calculate Field Python examples—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

for example

!shape.area@acres!

vs

!shape.geodesicArea@acres!

... sort of retired...
