Excel - Not working after Microsoft update 9-12

All, 

I have been experiencing persistent issues with Microsoft applications, particularly regarding freezing and crashing. Up until last week, I was able to integrate Excel sheets into my project without any difficulties. However, following the installation of Update 5002636 for Microsoft Office 2016 on September 12, 2024, I have been unable to add or work with Excel within the project. Furthermore, my computer's performance has significantly deteriorated. I would greatly appreciate any advice you may have to help resolve this issue. Thank you.

I would highly recommend reaching out to technical support and working with an analyst. They can help determine if the patch from MS caused the behavior that you are experiencing.
