Converting km to m with the “project” tool and “copy and modify” option fails in Pro,

Despite the fact that this tool works fine in ArcMap with much more decent environment to control the input values of the “project” tool, it fails to have equivalent environment in Pro.

For example, I tried to converting km to m with the “project” tool and “copy and modify” option but fails.

your input coordinate system is 'unknown' in the early images.. it should pick up the coordinate system automatically before you proceed on to subsequent lines.  Di you 'specify the input' (use Define Projection is best).  That needs to be fixed first or you will have to specify whether you followed the dialog in the order that is required.

This tool is much more generic in ArcMap. In Pro I got lost.

The issue here is that when the “modified” coordinate system is used, then the “output coordinate system” gets to unknown. This should be a bug
