Can the selection anchor be turned on to always appear when in Edit Mode?

In ArcMap, when selecting features in an edit session, a small 'x' appears to indicate the geometric center of the selected feature(s). In a parcel layer with multipart features (such as a parcel that is divided by a road), it is helpful to alert you that what is on your screen does not comprise the full selection (the 'x' will appear in a different place than you would expect).

Is this or something similar available in ArcGIS Pro? The selection anchor only seems to appear when specific tools are active, such as move. I'd like to see this anchor whenever a selection is made, at least in an Edit session.

Selection: Single feature selected in ArcMap. No 'x' shown; there must be more to this feature.

Selection2: Once zoomed out, you can see there was more to the feature.

Selection3 - ArcGIS Pro: Feature selected. Is there just one part to this feature? No indication either way.

Selection4 - ArcGIS Pro: No, there was another part to the feature. But are there only two parts to this feature, or even more? No indication on the screen either way. Yes, there is 'zoom to selection' but an on-screen indication would be helpful.
