I just updated to Pro 3.4 and find I can't connect to old connection files or gdb. I can log in using a new connection, but I can't open older .gdb They are all version 10.0. I can open my project gdb but not other pre-made ones. I get a generic Parameter is incorrect error!

I just solved this issue. My drive letter was different from the path my work group uses. I assume when the gdb were created, it was the path at the time of creation. Even though I can open folders, the gdb connections were not available. This is a new 'behavior' in Pro.
You have to update them to use in ArcGIS Pro 3+ Version.
Update your GDB version and Enterprise Geodatabase Versions as well.

thanks for the response-the gdb are at the latest release (10.0)

It took me a minute to see how that applied to my situation, but I finally figured it out. For others: I got the "parameter is incorrect" error too, and just discovered that "folder connections" in my Catalog window were bad (i.e. they didn't upgrade properly from 3.3?). What I needed to do was create a new folder connection ("Add folder connection") and then the feature classes in my gdb were visible and could be loaded.
Thanks, @TimothyHoward518. Your I used your solution and I am happy.
Thanks, this is ridiculous I have to remake all the folder connections and such
I have a second solution.
If you try to access a gdb that is located on an external hard drive through ArcGIS Pro, sometimes it will not allow you to access the gdb via a shortcut folder.
You have to navigate to the folder in Catalog through "This PC" within the contents pane.
