Black Map

I've used ArcMap a lot, but ArcGS Pro is the future, so I'm trying to get Pro figured out.

I importd an .mpk project from ArcMap into Pro and my map is black. The layout looks fine, but not the map. The layers were all there, but the background was black. I turned off all the layers, but all I have now is black.

What is going on here?

Try creating a new ArcGIS Pro Project, and copy the layers from the current Map View to the New Map View of ArcGIS Pro.

Thanks! That worked, although it did take a bit of work to recreate the whole thing. Later, I went back to the map with the problem, and went into the map properties and, under "General", I changed the background color from no color to white, which fixed the problem. I found it a bit odd, because my recreated project map also had no color as the background, but showed as white.
