ArcGIS Pro: How to limit Select By Attribute to the visible extent

I'm working with a national layer of parcels using ArcGIS Pro.  When I select by attribute it queries the entire layer, however I only want it to query the extent that is visible.  Is there a setting to enable that?  I can't seem to find one anywhere.  I recall ArcMap seemed to normally limit the Query to the visible extent.

I didn't know arcmap had one!  Can't find one for Pro either.

My procedure that I have always used....

•  roughly set the view extent, use the selector tool and highlighted a big rectangle to select everything in there.
• do the Select by Attribute, BUT use select from existing selection.
