I have two features, in the same feature class.  The edge I've flagged in red has incorrect z-elevations for the larger feature.  The smaller feature has the correct elevations.  How can I make this edge of the larger feature align with the edge of the smaller one?  Only the z needs to be adjusted, everything else is perfect.  I tried setting up a topology for rule area boundary must be covered by boundary of but apparently it can't do this within a feature class because I get a file lock error with no other possible explanation other than the tool doesn't work within a feature class.  Do I have to dissect every little feature I want to change into its own separate feature class or is there a better way?  Align feature seems likewise useless as the input needs to be in separate feature classes.
