Table being cut off from Excel

I'm using ArcMap 10.4 and when I insert my table (256 rows and 19 columns) it's only inserting maybe 60 rows.  Is there a size limitation to tables?  I am new to ArcMap but it just seems like there will probably be another form of workaround, or I'm doing it wrong.  I went to Insert, Object, and linked it that way.

Where are you trying to insert a table?

I'm just trying to import it into layout view.

I always had better luck highlighting desired fields in Excel, copy and paste within layout. This seems to work better than Insert, Object. I just tried and copied 738 records from spreadsheet in layout
