I "troubleshoot" a lot of users' issues with data not showing up and the issue 9 times out of 10 is they forgot they had a Definition Query applied. I propose there be a symbol or icon (universal filter icon?) that appears next to a layer's name in the Table of Contents that appears when a Definition Query is currently active for that layer. Maybe other icons could be adopted over time (for instance something to show that editing or selection is disabled while in the List by Drawing Order view), but the main issue I run into is people forgetting about active Definition Queries. Thanks!

This idea is a duplicate of https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/definition-query-icon-in-table-of-contents/idi-p/9640... See that link for how to filter the Contents to show layers with an active definition query.
