Place Newly Added Data to Bottom of Table of Contents

Just a simple setting in the ArcGIS options menu to force newly added data to the very bottom or very top of the table of contents.  This could be similar to the "Make newly added layers visible by default." feature.

Thanks for posting, John.  I'm curious as to the use case.  Currently, the Contents pane is designed to place points above lines and lines above polygons.  This way there is a pretty good chance that data added won't be hidden underneath other layers.  

You can drag and drop data from the Catalog Pane or View directly to where you want to place it in the Contents drawing order.  Tell us more about the need to always have added data placed at the bottom.
