Pick From Map Geocoding Tool in 2.6

I am using ArcGIS Pro 2.6.  While address rematching, I noticed that the "Pick from Map" tool, caused me some issues.  It can remain persistent even after you close the address rematching pane.  I also noticed that it uses the blue border/fill to show that the tool is in use.  Since the toolbar is very compact, it made it difficult to recognize if the tool was still in use.  Hoping this tool & the toolbar user interface can be tested, if it has not already been fixed in 2.7.   

In my screenshot, you can see that I have selected the explore tool, yet I seen remnants of a previous geocode.  The layers in the contents are not editable or even from my geocoding.
