Locate pane - results to new selection

Right now there is an option to add locate results to an existing selection; I would find it useful if there were an option to create a new selection (e.g. clear and add to new selection). Right now that's two clicks, and there's plenty of room on this context menu for alternate options (could even include select subset from selection, remove from selection - which I imagine would be very useful as well). Given that other selection tools typically include multiple options, this menu seems a little limited to only have 'add.'
