I have been using the new thematic pages quite a bit and it would be even better if an option was added to change the spatial extent and control what items are shown in the Layout. I'm not sure how this could be done - it would be a combination of thematic and data driven pages essentially. I know this can be done through a combination of data driven pages and page definition queries but this can be difficult to setup. Currently i'm having to use multiple Layouts of different extents in conjunction with thematic pages.
Additionally an option to include/exclude items in the Layout based on thematic pages would be very helpful
