When I am updating data in an edit session, I often select a feature and copy/paste it into the target layer using CTRL-C & CTRL-V. However, if there is a layer highlighted in the table of contents, it copies and pastes that layer into the data frame instead of the feature. The functionality to copy a layer and paste it into a data frame exists in the right-click menus. Does it really need to be redundantly available through the keyboard shortcuts?
