I am so tired of waiting for features to "draw" that are miles away from the features in my current view frame in ArcMap Desktop (9.3.1)!
Please improve performance of interactive maps by using a spatial index or something so that only those features that are in the current extent draw in ArcMap Data View (& Layout View).
