Add several optional cursors for the navigation in the map. For example a cross, a pointer etc.

 

Also add the posibility for the cursor to appear in several linked views simultaneously

1. This is two separate ideas.  Please read the ArcGIS Ideas Submission Guidelines and Statuses to ensure you are submitting actionable requests.

2. "Also add the posibility for the cursor to appear in several linked views simultaneously" See https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/show-pointer-location-in-all-linked-views-in/idi-p/93... which is available in ArcGIS Pro 2.9 - released yesterday!

3. For "Add several optional cursors for the navigation in the map. For example a cross, a pointer etc." this request seems like a duplicate of https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/ability-to-modify-cursor-for-create-feature-and/idi-p...  Can you read through that an confirm?  If so, we can close this present idea and you can add your kudos and additional comments to that existing idea.

Hey thank you for the fast replay.

 

1. I was not aware, sorry 2. Yes, but if I understand correctly this addition in 2.9 is only relevant when you are and feature layer editing mode, and not in regular navigation 3. Males sense

No need to apologize @OmerZilkha !  Just helping you be the most effective when working with ArcGIS Ideas!

You are correct that the primary use cases requesting linked cursors are for editing.  Here is the help topic: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/link-the-pointer-across-maps.htm

I can't get a good screen capture that shows both the Explore tool as well as the linked cursor, but they display even without editing.  On this part of your original requests, I would recommend using the functionality that was just released in Pro 2.9 and if you have requirements/use cases that call for new functionality, submit a unique idea in the current 2.9 context.

I'll close this idea for 'custom cursor symbols' as it sounds like you can vote on the other.
