Can you make something to show when a copy is done. It's very frustrating to copy an paste to see that it's does not work but instead paste the previous copy.
@MarcelSt-Germain I wonder of the delay in copy completion is related to the current Copy bug.
If you try to paste something but the source Pro instance is still having the hiccups, you will paste whatever was in the buffer from before.
Over & above the bug, 3.5.2 does feel a bit more sluggish to copy/paste. The same task on a less powerful computer with 3.2 feels snappier (copy / paste in the attribute table for example).
For me, any copy operation is affected, from copying multiple layers from Contents, to copying a word from the attribute table to paste to a text object in a layout. The most irritating is using the "Copy" button to copy selected items in the attribute table to paste them into Excel. Time & time again I would paste, only to find it used a previous selection.
"Back in the day' I had a few apps where you could have the debug flag set at start-up and they would feel really sluggish in use. Pro reminds me of those days.
@ValeriaChavez I think I lodged an Idea for Pro to have a visual indicator to show when it is ready for input again. I guess this Idea falls under that concept. Pro is so busy doing other stuff while I'm trying to get work done that I feel I need a green light to show me when it is ready to carry on with my stuff again.
