colour patches that are automatically chosen when a layer is added or categories are displayed should be default colours shown in the colour picker.
The colours in the colour ramps never quite match the colours in the colour picker.
While I'm at it - the option to choose outlines the same colour as fill patches or as a random selection from a colour ramp - for all items in a category. Saves having to change them individually.
