We really like the link to the ItemInfo arcgis.com page from search results in the Catalog pane as this is the only place all the info needed for a data citation can be found.
However when the user adds a feature layer (for example) to a map but forgets to capture the link before doing another search they can't find the page again. And the information presented for the layer makes it hard to find that item again (for example, no owner info seems to be there, and sometimes it says "item does not support metadata [!])
It would be great if (for web service map layers) a link to the iteminfo page of the source could be available in Catalog View.
