I am having difficulties creating a streamlined report that can convey that same information that I would otherwise use Excel or Access for. I have different public work asset inventories I would like to share with management, grouped by multiple fields and summarized by a length or area field for each type. For instance I should have a single row for 18" RCP storm water lines with their summarized length (see attachment). However, when creating a report in ArcGIS Pro, I am not able to create such a report. I can convey the same information in the Detail section, but instead of the data being grouped on one row for each data type, the report creates a row for each entry of that same data type. So, if I have 10 18' RCP storm water lines, the report will have ten rows, one for each 18" line and then I am able to summarize the lengths in the Group Footer section (see attachment). As you can imagine, this can lead to some very long reports. Is this currently possible or being considered in a future update?
Hi @KRubalcaba,
I'm the product lead for reports in Pro. Can you send me an email? Let's work on this together: arajendran@esri.com
Thanks!

@ Alycia, Welcome! Let me remind you again about the implementation of the grow/shrink function to control the contents of the field(s) within the report. I hope it will be in the upcoming release 3.1.
Thank you!
@BranislavBlagojevic Was the grow/shrink function added to Pro reports yet? We can't find that as an option. Using Pro 3.12, but 3.2 coming any day now.
The ability to auto-grow text in your details is in Pro 3.2 (already out, don't need to wait!).
The option is on the Details subsection tab on the ribbon:
@AlyciaRajendran_esri We have to wait for approval to install newer versions of software, but we should get 3.2 any day now.
