“Feature access capabilities,” via Feature Services, has been added to ArcGIS Server 10 allowing end-users (clients) to query and edit features stored in a geodatabase.  However, simple feature editing capabilities are only available in ArcGIS Desktop or web clients like Silverlight, .NET ADF, JavaScript, Flex and ArcGIS.com web map applications.

Please add to ArcGIS Explorer, the capability to perform simple point-line-polygon feature editing of ArcGIS Server Feature Services.  End-users can do it through web mapping applications, why not in AGX?  Providing editing capabilities in AGX is no threat to ESRI’s professional ArcGIS Desktop suite of software.
