When adding a field that will make use of an existing domain, I can't always remember the type of domain I want or how many characters long to make a new string field so that it accommodates a particular domain. it would be nice to be able to access domain properties directly from the add field dialog so these types of questions could be answered without having to cancel out of the add field dialog to go look it up.
