Moving a fabric point no longer drags connected lines and polygons

For some reason when we move a Fabric point, it no longer drags connected line and polygon features with it. In the past, I know we have been able to drag a fabric point a few feet to make it align better with surrounding features and connected parcel types would move with it.

This is no longer happening. The point will move but the connected lines and polygons will stay where they were.

Rebuilding the fabric will create a new point back at the original location.

As a sanity check, I exported the data to a new fabric in a local FGDB and tried dragging the point again. This time it worked, connected lines were dragged with the fabric point.

@jcarlson

That sounds like an editing issue that is not related to the parcel fabric. Did you submit a case to technical support?

BTW - your picture appeared on the MVP board in the UC 🙂

It does, but it only happens on my parcel fabrics. If I have another topology-enabled feature service, it comes in just fine.

It's at the level of "minor inconvenience", so I haven't bothered with a support ticket. But perhaps I should, just to get someone else's take on what is going on.

@jcarlson Thanks for letting us know this (annoying) behavior has disappeared.

It might be related to the tab you are on... and how/when certain DLLs load behind the scenes.
I suspect you are on the editing tab and this is why you might no longer see this behavior or triggered the right DLLs to load.
