When importing data into parcel fabric, there are currently no tools to automate the creation of connections lines between parcel corners and their nearest control point. While it is fairly simple to create connection lines in a new subdivision, once the dataset is in the 100's of parcels, the manual task becomes painfully slow and repetitive.
It would be fantastic if there were a Parcel Fabric geoprocessing tool that would automatically create connection lines between parcel corners and their nearest control point. Even if there were some errors in the process, it would be much easier to fix these than start from scratch.
Is this still needed with the new parcel fabric, the new information model and the new LSA engine that does not require connectivity to perform LSA?
With the new LSA engine in ArcGIS Pro there is no need to create artificial connection lines as it can adjust isolated 'islands' of parcels.
The geoprocessing framework and python can be used to automate feature creation between points.
