Why is the scroll wheel zoom in so far now on ArcGIS Online?

I am not sure when it began, but every ArcGIS Online portal I visit the scroll wheel zooms in extremely too far. Is there a setting I need to change? I notice this in Chrome , Edge, and IE.

Thanks,

Dan

I was having the same issue, using a Logitech MX Vertical mouse. Issue only occurred within AGOL. I disabled smooth scrolling (in Logitech Options app), and now incremental zoom seems to be working normally. Thankful I found this thread. I had to give a presentation using an AGOL app before I found the solution. That was super frustrating!

I was about to have to do that as well, but I pictured myself swearing at it too much...crisis averted!

My problem was a little different - posting in case anyone has the same issue. Whenever I zoomed in or out on a newer ArcGIS Online map (older ones seemed to work fine), it would zoom out and to the southeast. I thought it was fixed by reinstalling/refreshing Firefox, but it came back. I eventually found that an extension was installed - Logitech Setpoint. Turning that off finally got rid of the problem.

For anyone who might come across this issue - My fix was to search Logitech in Windows programs and there was a Logitech software... Go through the install process and there will be an option towards the end of installation called Smooth Scrolling - make sure to disable it. Worked like a charm.

we just ran into this with Enterprise 11.1 after swapping out a desktop's mouse/keyboard

disabling that option in the installed logitech software fixed it immediately

Thank you
