Upload point layer to ArcGIS Online to be consumed by Silverlight Application

I'd like to know if it would be possible to create and store a point layer in my ArcGIS Online account and consume this layer, without ArcGIS Server from a Silverlight Application created using the Application Builder.

I know I can upload a CSV file with addresses, but AFAIK, they can only be used within the ArcGIS.com application.

You would need to upload your points into a webmap, then open that webmap in the silverlight application builder as described here.
