I am having issues with editing in AGOL Map Viewer since the Feb 2024 update. Other uses in the group that have sharing privileges to the content are having the same issues.
1) When I click on a feature's icon in the map, the Edit tool link in the pop-up is there and I can click on it, but nothing happens after I click on it. I can open the table and edit the fields in the table, but not in the pop-up.
2) There is no edit option on the list of tools in the map for layers that are editable. I cannot edit the existing geometry or add new features.
I have added some screenshots as attachments below. One shows the settings for the feature layer (hosted) with editing enabled. One shows the pop-up window with the Edit button that doesn't work. And one shows the tool options that are visible in the map when I have the layer's properties open, notice there is no Edit or Add Feature, etc. option available.
The editing tools all work when the feature layer is opened either in ArcGIS Pro or Map Viewer Classic, they just no longer work in Map Viewer. Any solutions?
Hi @RobinHolland, are you the owner of the dataset? Or you unable to edit or is it other users in the group you mentioned. Have you changed any settings recently? Lastly, can you please DM me the data if possible?
Hello. Thanks for the reply. Sorry for the delay in answering. I have been out of the office and I incorrectly posted my original reply to you as a reply to the topic not to you directly.
I am the owner of the data and both myself and other group users are having the same issue. We've been using the feature layer for about 6 months with no issues and no changes to the settings. After the latest AGOL update, we experienced this issue and I did modify the feature layer's settings to make it so that all editors could edit all features. That was after the problem appeared and my attempt to troubleshoot it. Prior to that editors could only edit their own features.
Since then, I have also tried to pull the features out of the group since that was listed as one possible solution on a similar topic. However that did not work. Even when removed from their group in the map, the feature layers were still uneditable in Map Viewer. Do you have any ideas?

Also I should clarify that this issue is happening for all of my content. It is not limited to one feature layer or even one web map. It is happening with all of them.
