Hi All,

Maybe someone can help me out on this>

It looks like the aerial imagery was just updated Nov.29th since that update I no long have the ability to copy the URL to portal and store my AGOL credentials. We were using the world imagery tiled map service in an offline map for collector.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a work around for this?

Thanks,

Matt

Matthew Kalcich Would you be able to share here what the outcome from the Support case was?

If I recall correctly, the boxes for credentials will not show up if Portal does not trust the SSL certificate for the URL provided for the service.  See Problem: The option to store credentials when adding secured services is not visible in Portal for A...

Does Portal trust the SSL certificate for tiledbasemaps.arcgis.com?  You can confirm this by using the checkURL tool like so:

https://yourportal.yourdomain.com/yourwebadaptor/sharing/rest/checkUrl.jsp?url=https://tiledbasemaps...

If it returns "success": "false", then Portal did not properly validate the SSL certificate and most likely you will need to add it to your trusted sites or add the certificate into Portal's keystore.  Any other response for that operation generally means it DOES trust the certificate and it's probably something else.

Hi Katie,

My apologies for not circling around on this.

The problem was that we did not have the server that portal was installed on talking to the internet.

I am not sure of the reason why it was working previously and stopped working. Opening up that server to the internet fixed our problem.

Thanks for everyone's willingness to help and your valuable input.

Thanks again, and happy holidays!!!

Matt
