I have imported a zipped .shp file into my ArcGIS Online map.  However, I'm not happy with the order of the unique symbol symbology (I want "A" first and "Z" last in the legend).  Is there a way to change it or override the default ordering scheme?

Hi Carissa, Dan,

Reordering unique symbology will be supported with the next website update, in December.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Carissa,

Can you share a link to the web map or the service?

Thanks,
Andrew

Did you find a solution to this?  I have the same problem with a shape file that was loaded. The map is not displaying the years in order.  Odd thing is it that it displayed correctly by default when I did the same map last year.

This year (not ordered correctly): http://bit.ly/1dTb7k1

Last year (correct): http://bit.ly/1deocIk

No, no solution yet.  There was a request to share the file but this data is not public.
