Trying out the trial for AGOL Subscription.  Published a service with two layers. One of the layers has a query definition on it.  The published service does not utliize the query def to filter the features. Shouldn't one be able to do this?

When I run the "Analyze" process in the Service Editor I get a "Layer does not have a feature template set error for both layers.

Thanks:

Hosted feature services don't support query definitions yet. We will support them and it's on the short list...

Thanks,

we wanna know how long you will release this kind of QUERY function in AGOL, several months, or years? because query and search are very one of the most commonly functions for web.

Thanks

Mikem,  I had a lot of trouble with this as it was not flagged up in ArcMap when i published a feature service with two layers which had definition queries.  We were then editing individual layers and the new feature edits were added to both layers.  It would help if there was a notification of this in ArcMap (when the analyse tool finds layers with definition queries) until this feature is added to the platform.
