The pop-up window in the new embedded map viewer has formatting problems.  The text conflicts with the function widgets in the top section and the color from the bottom pane bleeds into the top to obscure text that wraps onto a second line.  Can this be fixed?

This is something we could look at making configurable for the next release. For the current release a workaround could be to re-configure the popup content using the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer. In your example it looks like you don't have anything defined for the popup content just for the title. So to get the look you had in the old embed app you could change the popup settings to use nothing for the title and to set the field you want for the description. Here's an image showing this in the new Embed Viewer: Screen Shot 2014-12-16 at 1.40.36 PM.png

And here is a screen grab of the popup config panel: Screen Shot 2014-12-16 at 1.42.32 PM.png

Kelly,

Thank you for your reply.

This solution is OK, but it is not good.  Now I have a large number of pop-ups to reconfigure.

It would be better if the behavior of the pop-ups in the new viewer was consistent with their behavior in the old one and in webmap/viewer.html.  Also, I think it is poor practice to have sections of the pop-up that can conflict with each other the way these do.  If the little widget bar at the top can have text in it, it should be big enough to handle it and the text should be kept separate from the widgets.
