Layer items of secured GIS services with stored credentials no longer working

We have web applications that rely on secured web services that we then filter and serve out to different ArcGIS Online Group members. It seems our layer items that had the username and password credentials stored within the item are no longer working. Is this related to the recent AGOL upgrade?  Thank you.

HI Bret,

There aren't any documented reports of this occurring due to the update a few weeks ago. I'd suggest getting in touch with tech support to look into the issue further.
