Joins in AGOL

I am trying to publish a feature service that has a join within it. When I publish this hosted feature service the feature that I have the join set up for is not a part of the service. The table that is joined to the service is still present. Are 'joins' supported in AGOL? There is not much documentation available.

Hi Deb,

Joined data is supported in ArcGIS Online as a Hosted Feature Service. What version of ArcMap are you using to publish your hosted feature service?

Also, would it be possible to share more information about your data and the joined fields or share the current hosted feature service?

Also, feel free to contact Support Services for help determining what the cause of this issue is.

I am using ArcMap 10.2.2.3552 advanced.

Joined data is supported in AGOL, thank you. Can I symbolize based off this join in AGOL? I have not been able to get it to work. When I have a layer symbolized based off of an attribute from the Joined table, that layer is not in the feature service I publish.
