I'm trying to create a choropleth map of Mexico, with states shaded in accordance with different values. I have a layer showing the boundaries of the states of Mexico and a layer with the data I'd like to combine with the Mexican states to make the map. I know how I could do this on ArcMap, but need to use ArcGIS Online (as these are shared maps). Does anyone know if this is possible in ArcGIS Online, and if so, how? Happy to share the map if that would provide context.

Thanks!

Do you have access to Arcmap? Create the desired map in Arcmap then upload it as a hosted feature service.

See if you can do a Join Features—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS (both layer and table will need a common attribute) and then change the style to Counts and Amounts (Color) using Style numbers—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS
