Hi,

Last week I posted a solution to use the time slider and have interval units smaller than months, Solved: Time Slider units smaller then "Month" not availab... - Esri Community

But today, i noticed an new feature ' Select slider mode' and now the interval settings are not honored after publishing and the Time Duration is used for the slider. While in the configuration of the App the slider works as expected.

Hi @Stefan_Thorn I believe that the Instant Apps team deployed a fix for this. Are you still seeing the issue?

Thanks,

-Peter

Hi @Anonymous User ,

Thank you for your reply. Today, I don't see the issue anymore. I opened a case (#02955359) with Esri Support and can tell them that it is fixed.

But, the issue that I now notice is about the pop-up in the map (in configuration and after publish). When you click a visible feature, it will also show the info from the features that are hidden and the pop-up is therefore not in sync with the time slider. This is confusing for users when they want to have info about the visible features.

I will use this case to have Esri Support look into this.

It's August 2022, and this is still an issue. The slider does limit feature visibility to match the current location of the slider, but does not limit the active features that overlap the visible features. You'll see in my screenshot that the slider value is 2010, but the pop-up has a feature with the value 2018 plus two features (one of which is the correct feature for 2010 plus an additional incorrect one).
@Anonymous User, is there a fix available or coming for this issue? I don't want to build anything in Instant Apps for which I need this functionality if there's no way to address this.
