How can layers created in a flex viewer be imported into ArcMap (.CSV or .GVP) ?

My organization has access to a multitude of Web maps that are on an internal network. The light end geo users are able to create various layers in the webmaps and save the layers as .csv or .gvp files and can recall these into the webmap at any time. Is there a way or method to easily bring these saved layers into ArcMap for further use?

Nick,

If the client application (Flex viewer) is creating the files, there should be no reason why you couldn't add them directly to your ArcMap map document. For instance, if your .csv has some spatial data, you can add the layer to the map and then 'display X & Y' data. D

Are you running into any issues with this workflow?

Thanks!

Andrew
