I published a service from a Geodatabase to use in ArcCollector. I collected sample points and pictures. I was curious if there was a way to push that information from ArcGIS Online back to the geodatabase? Any advice

Today you can get back your data from ArcGIS Online in several ways:

-download link from feature service item

-using ArcGIS for Desktop (ArcMap), you can also use your hosted feature service, then right clic on the layer in the ArcMap TOC and choose Export Data: you will be able to export the data to a local gdb. If you choose Edit > create a local copy for update: this will create a local geodatabase on your dekstop. In that case, data will be extrated according to the view extent.

-using python

Note that you can also consider that your data now live in the ArcGIS Online storage, and you can use it with the hosted feature service in ArcMap or from any other applications.

Also, please note that according to the road ahead technical workshop during the UC 2014 last week, future updates of ArcGIS Online will offer new capabilities such as sync data between ArcGIS Online hosted services and multi users geodatabase.

Stay tuned.
