I’m hoping to get some clarification regarding domain editing permissions within a feature service.
We have a secondary admin attempting to update domains on a layer they don’t own. While they are able to edit domains on some layers, they’re restricted from doing so on others. Could someone help me understand what determines whether a secondary admin can or cannot edit domains on a given layer?
Additionally, is there a specific reason why this limitation exists for secondary admins? Given the title, I would expect their role to carry broader editing capabilities-- particularly for administrative tasks like domain management.
We were able to switch ownership of the content so they could make their edits. It would be nice to not have to do that in the future!!
Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!!
I believe you have to be the owner or have the administrator role in order to edit the schema.
