I'm not sure whether this is the place to post this. I'm wondering whether it is possible to create custom urls for Arcgis online groups. For instance, I have an url:http://arcg.is/xx11xx, which is randomly generated upon the creation of a group. I would like the url to behttp://arcg.is/fluffymarshmallow. Is there any way of doing so? If not, is this something that could be implemented?
When sharing groups within a large project group, I feel it would be convenient to have a logical and recognizable group url.
Currently, ArcGIS Online groups are identified in the URL by a unique group ID and as of right now, the URLs cannot be customized. If you'd like to see this implemented in a future release, I recommend posting it in ArcGIS Ideas.
