Collector - how do I make a map visible in Collector on a mobile device?

We have made a web map and want to access it through Collector on our android tablets and ipads. Some of our maps are visible and some not - what are the settings that enable this? Is there a time delay before it becomes available?

You will need to have a recently saved map with an editable feature service in the map. You need to share your maps to groups and other members of the groups can then see those maps. If to load new maps on iOS you can pull to refresh and android has a refresh button on the side menu.
