Cannot edit mapservice description on ArcGIS.com

I've successfully uploaded a mapservice to ArcGIS.com and now wish to edit the description and add metadata.  However, when I click on the edit button nothing happens.  No thumbnail is created and the boxes to enter description details do not appear, the service just seems to hang there.  Any ideas as to why this might be happening and a solution?

So you have added a link to a service running on your ArcGIS Server, but you are unable to edit the item details for that item you added? Are you having the same trouble editing the description of any other items?

I'd try clearing your browser cache first to see if that clears things up.
