Can we not add layers to ArcGIS Online anymore that are from our own server?

I was trying to add a new layer to the ArcGIS Online maps from my own server and now there appears to be no way to do this.  I also now suddenly get a message that ArcGIS Online cannot add a layer because its not secure.  Is this a new policy change?  I really wish Esri would leave my stuff alone, how am I going to edit my webmaps now?

Hi Josh,

Does your organization allow both http and https connections or just https connections?

In 2020, ArcGIS Online will move to using only https, but currently, you can configure your organization to support both. I recommend enabling https on your ArcGIS Server as soon as you can as this will be a requirement in the upcoming year.

UPDATE: We are currently working on moving to HTTPS.  Its just a process, but I plan to have it in place before 2020 Lord willing and the creek don't rise.

Everything I have is HTTP now.  If this hasn't been enforced yet, why am I not able to access my "non-secure" services?  I'll talk to IT.  Also, apparently I was doing something wrong as I can now get to the place to add a layer from the web.

I must be losing my mind as now the layers are working just fine.  Thanks Kelly Gerrow for the other part though.
