I have a simple polygon layer that I have in ArcMap. I labeled it using a simple VBScript expression to make a label such as "ID: [myIDField] so it will show 'ID: 234' for example.
After I publish this to ArcGIS Online as a tiled map service, the labels appear but only show the part of the label in quotes and NOT the part of the label pulled from the attribute table. So I only see "ID:" after publishing.
Yes, the labels appear correct in ArcMap. My boss was on the phone with ESRI support yesterday while I was researching this issue in the forums. He was given an incident/bug number of 1096691
There was no special text symbol and I am pretty sure there was no scale range settings either.
