ArcGIS Online signing out after adding field

I am using the + Add button to add additional fields to a layer hosted in ArcGIS Online. After adding fields, ArcGIS Online is intermittently signing me out. Has anyone else experienced this or got any insights about how to stop it from happening?

If this is happening consistently, please log a ticket with Esri Tech Support.  Reports like this is the only way bugs like this get fixed!  I also suggest trying it with another browser to see if this is a browser-specific problem.
