ArcGIS online hosted layer showing many more features than are there

I am working with an Arcgis online hosted layer that I've been populating with field maps.  The layer as of yesterday had about 833 features in it.  This morning, after doing some editting with ArcGIS Pro, it is showing over 2,000 features in the attribute table in ArcGIS Mapviewer, but there aren't that many features there. 

I can't figure out what's going on.

Are they duplicates, or just different? What does the attribute table show you?

Are you using attribute rules for anything?

The attribute table shows there are features there, but they don't exist in the table or spatially:

Strange. Can you try rebuilding the layer's index? I think that's on the settings page...

Doesn't look like I have proper access to do that for this hosted layer.  I'll reach out to one of the admins and have them try it.  Thanks
