ArcGIS online feature layer not showing all layers when added to arcGIS desktop

Hi, new user here. I am trying to add a specific feature layer (watersheds in Canada; https://services.arcgis.com/As5CFN3ThbQpy8Ph/arcgis/rest/services/1Watersheds/FeatureServer) from ArcGIS online to my desktop version. The individual layers (4) all show correctly when using ArcGIS online, however once I add the data to ArcMap (desktop) only the first layer shows in my table of contents. I've tried adding other data and it always works and all the layers display in my TOCs and on my map. Not sure why this specific layer won't display correctly. Any help would be appreciated. thank you.

@kateprestie i tried adding into both ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro as an ArcGIS Server connection, and both came in fine:

Did you drag the whole feature service into your map window?

How did you connect to the service?
