I am trying to optimise performance with regards to ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro so posting this question to rule out another variable..
On different computers and internet connections it appears that Esri throttles the available bandwidth when exporting data from a hosted feature service in ArcGIS Online.
On a large hosted feature service with many attachments I get utilisation of about 10mbps (on a 50mbps connection) when running a feature class to feature class process in Pro. Similar data on a 1gbps fibre internet connection was a little bit faster (20-100mbps) but as a percentage of max available much worse.
If I export the same feature services to a FGDB in Online (which can sometimes take a VERY long time) I can download the resulting FGDB at the full bandwidth available.
Has anyone else observed this behaviour and if so where did you find points for optimisation?
