I'm not really sure why I frequently find most of my fields unchecked/hidden, but it would be nice if I could turn them all back on at the click of a button. Rarely do I want any of my columns hidden, and right now I'm constantly having to turn them on one-by-one (despite never having turned them off). What's even more frustrating is that the view does not retain these settings - I literally have to click dozens and dozens of boxes every time I want to look at my data.
There is a select all box in the fields view, but it's not really clear what that's for - there aren't any options or commands that you can do with these boxes checked.
You could possibly delete multiple fields with this "select all" box, but since the OBJECTID is selected (and possibly other necessary fields), this option is not shown. 🙂

I don't know what other options are available by selecting fields this way nor would I think it would be useful to delete all the fields if there are no ObjectID and such other fields... or maybe I'm wrong!
@mikaël Oh interesting, it wouldn't be a bad spot to add some global show/hide controls.
